Accessorizing the media center

Friday, July 2, 2010

I recently picked up a few little accessories to spruce up the media center. Each one of the items cost less than $4 - AWESOME! All they needed was a little spray paint and they'd be ready to display.

The items I had to paint was a wooden Fleur de Lis that I picked up from Goodwill, a clearance picture frame from Target, and a wooden love sign that I found at Marshalls.

I used both a black and silver paint. Again, Rustoleum Universal Formula spray paint was my go to paint...and it worked awesome!

So, here are the final products!

I still need to get some pictures to put in the frames and I'm not 100% sure that I like cream colored candle in the bottom left corner of the media stand but it normally sits on the side table anyways...I better return it to it's proper home. I was also thinking that it might look nice to install some lighting down on the bottom shelves. Hmm...something to think about. What do you think? Like the fresh paint? Have you been doing any accessorizing lately?
