Pumpkin Palooza

This year I found myself suddenly looking forward to the fall season. This is not normal behavior for me. I normally save all my love for summer. This excitement made it really difficult to hold off on putting out our fall decor. I try to just decorate for the season not specifically for Halloween or Thanksgiving. Anyway, I decided that I had to wait until October to start or I'd really be fed up with things by the time Thanksgiving was over. So we have pumpkins. Lots of pumpkins.

I grabbed some gourds from the grocery store and piled them into this basket for our coffee table. Easy and pretty. Like.

I picked up this tiered pumpkin floral thingy from T.J. Maxx and thought it looked pretty by the sink. I did add a little jack-o-lantern tin on the one side but it'll be easy to put away after Halloween.

On top of our kitchen cabinets I picked up some super cheap fall leaf garland and faux pumpkins from Michael's. I might think about stenciling something onto the pumpkins next year. Something to ponder I suppose. :)

I've had these pumpkin lights for a few years now and I absolutely love them. This year I just added a few mini pumpkins to the entertainment center too. I like the way it turned out.

I've also had this cute little nightlight for a few years and I like to plug it in over the island in the kitchen. This year I added this little sign from where else?! T.J. Maxx!

This is what we have going on out in front of the house. We had to get a new scarecrow this year. Our previous scarecrow, Sally, died. Loren decided we should name this one Jesse. I liked it.

Our last little fall decoration is this black kitten. It's our Sookie's season! :) Sorry the pic is a little blurry, she's camera shy.

So that's what we have going on here with fall decorations. It's just enough to feel festive but not so overwhelming that I'll go crazy by the end of November. Have you been doing any decorating for fall? I'd love to see anything you've done!
