Hello my little chickadee

Yesterday I was at JoAnn Fabrics looking for a lot of items that they didn't have when I stumbled upon this:

The cutest little black birdy. I've been looking for a little birdy at Goodwill that I could fix up with some spray paint but JoAnn's was selling this baby all shiny and ready to go. For only $4 too! Score!!

I haven't officially decided where I'm going to display my new little friend. I tried it out by the window in the kitchen. You know, in case my pretend birdy wanted to peek out at all his real life buddies.

I decided I didn't love it there though. Next up is an end table in the living room.

For now I'm going to leave it there. Still close to the window too! :) I'm thinking that once I finally get around to decorating the dining room buffet then maybe he'll take up permanent residence there. No matter where it is, I love it.
