Fall Home Decor

Friday, October 28, 2016

So, since October is almost over I figured if I was going to share our Fall home decor I better get it done! I've had it up most of the month but just never got around to taking any photos. Typically for holiday decor, I just stick to the main living areas and this year was no exception.

I just found this entry table a few weeks ago so I never actually decorated it for everyday use (that's why the hurricane is still empty!), I still wanted to spruce it up for the season. I found this cute little basket at Homegoods and filled it with candy (Reese's pumpkins!). The lower shelf got this cute light-up jack-o-lantern that my Mom gave me, a little white pumpkin, and this trick-or-treat sign from the Target Dollar Spot.

Moving over to the dining room...we're hosting Thanksgiving this year so I wanted to decorate in a way that wouldn't be in the way of eating! I used some double sided tape to add some sparkly orange ribbon to our candles. It was a simple DIY and I didn't get too weird about spacing, just eyeballed it and decided it was good enough. Our buffet got some garland, velvet pumpkins, and some Autumnal vase filler in the jars. I found the cute little Halloween sign for the barcart.

I spruced up the mantel in the family room too. The garland is the same as what's in the dining room and there's a few more velvet pumpkins. I picked up that cute little squirrel at Target and the jack-o-lantern light strand was just added a few days ago! Another cheap Target score.

That pretty much sums things up. A few things to take out after Halloween and everything else will transition and stay through Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to a weekend of sneaking Halloween candy and hopefully a Hocus Pocus viewing. Hope you have a great weekend!

Love,
K
